We are so HAPPY to announce we have just hit 26,000 meals for the charity we support, FareShare Sussex and Surrey🎉

Which means we are half way to our target of 50,000 meals!

This charity is very close to our hearts and we are huge fans of the amazing work they do.

​

FareShare Sussex & Surrey believes that no good food should go to waste, with their team of over 200 volunteers they redistribute surplus food to 144 local charities who turn it into nutritious meals.🥕 They are a community that change lives. £25 will provide 100 meals.

​

We have been raising money in store, through carrier bag sales and our very popular pre-loved clothes rail. The team and some of our fabulous customers have brought in clothes that are in excellent condition and too nice not be worn again. Every single penny goes to FareShare Sussex and Surrey.

The clothes are priced between £5-£25 and some items are brand new with tags on. It is a great way to raise money whilst being sustainable too.♻️

Last year they:-

• Redistributed 904 tonnes of food, equivalent to 2.14 million meals

• Served 144 local charities and community groups

• Helped over 16.5 thousand people receive food

• 1,447 tonnes of CO2 saved which is equivalent to 162 round trips from London to Sydney
